Imitations of the KAMUI cue case are found on auction sites and e-commerce sites in Japan. They do not meet the quality standards of KAMUI, and many defects are present in parts and other specifications.

The KAMUI cue case has been out of production and there is no stock remaining, so it is assumed that the possibility of imitation is high if the item currently being circulated is new.
Also please be aware that there is a possibility of imitation goods even in secondhand goods.
According to a survey, imitation goods are manufactured in China and seem to be brought into Japan, so please pay sufficient attention in the case of individual trading on auction sites and similar secondary markets.
